Material has no stretch at all. I’m size 14/16 and XL was way to small ☹️

We do try to be as clear as possible with the fit and sizing information, and Rigid Magic is a style that has no stretch in the front, and lots of stretch in the back. We also include a sizing chart with the shorts, because Judy Blue shorts are sized very differently from the jeans. Based on wearing size 14/16, you would need the 1XL in these shorts and not the XL.
