What is Featherweight Denim? Featherweight Denim is a new innovation from Judy Blue, made with soft, sustainable Tencel fabric that feels lightweight, breathable and incredibly comfortable. It has an easy, drapey feel, almost like wearing your favorite sheets... while still being durable enough for everyday wear. This fabric does not have stretch.

Take your normal department size and size down 1 size. Example if you are a size 10, you would be a size 9 in Judy Blues. If you straddle two sizes, take your middle size. Example: If you are a 4-6, you would be a size 5 in Judy Blue.

Love these jeans. Love the wide leg. I’m 5’6”” they go right to the floor but when I walk they are so flowing and light weight they do no drag under the shoe they flow back and fourth like a skirt if that makes sense. I love the waist. Being in menopause, I have a bloat that by the end of the day my clothes hurt and feel tight. The soft elastic is perfect.

I had ordered these in my true size 18 but had to send back and get the 16 which were way better! The 18s were way to long so the 16 worked perfectly! Love them! So comfortable. I’m 5’7 1/2” tall at 168 with some thickness in mid-section and the instructions for sizing down from true size was right on. They’re not overly roomy if that’s what you like but a little more fitted but still very comfortable.

Hi, I do love these pants and how fast they arrived. I am a true size 6 in misses jeans and ordered a 5. I feel like I should have gotten a 3. After wearing them all day, they stretch and bag out. I can't return them now since I've worn them, just letting you know if you are curious as to what size to get. I did wash and dry them and they shrunk up just a little, made the fit a little better but still I should have went down another size.

I am not fond of the quality of the material on these (very thin) pants. Not the Judy Blue quality i am used to. I will be donating the replacement pair of jeans since no refund was given for the pair that ripped.

Although we had not received similar reports on this style, we sent a replacement pair as a courtesy because we always want to stand behind our products and make things right when there is a concern about a potential defect. This particular style is part of Judy Blue's newer featherweight collection and is intentionally made from a lightweight, non-stretch fabric. The product description notes that the fabric is designed to be featherweight and does not contain stretch, which creates a very different feel from the traditional stretch denim many Judy Blue customers are accustomed to. We understand that fabric preferences can vary from person to person, and while this collection has been very popular with many customers, we recognize it may not be everyone's preferred style.
